Kids of Kathmandu is a non-profit organization that utilizes photography and the arts to raise awareness about the needs of orphans in Kathmandu, Nepal. Raising $800 from these print sales will sponsor a year of education, food, shelter and immunizations for one child who lives in Nepal and will directly benefit an orphanage called The New Youth Development Society.

Manjari Sharma is a photographer based in New York City. Rooted in the study of relationships and personal mythology, her work has been recognized as walking the line of fine art and traditional portraiture. In the past few years, Manjari‘s work has been showcased in group and solo exhibitions both in the US and internationally. In 2010, she was included in the Critical Mass Top 50, was a featured photographer in PDNedu, received awards from ASMP and the IPA Lucie Awards, and was a winner in the NYC Strand photo contest. Manjari’s work has received press from The Morning News, Burn Magazine, 1000 Words, Deep Sleep, Slideluck Potshow, PDN Photo of The Day Blog, Flak Photo, Fraction Magazine, Exposure Compensation, Nymphoto blog, Leica and Lenscratch, among many others. She lives in Brooklyn and is represented by the Richard Levy Gallery in Albuquerque and Paul Kopeikin in Los Angeles, but most importantly and above all dares to dream as often as she can.
