Growing Power’s co-founder, Will Allen, was awarded 2008 a MacArthur Fellowship in 2008 for his work with the organization.

Kevin J. Miyazaki is a Milwaukee-based editorial and fine art photographer, and the founder of collect.give. Work from his series Camp Home, in which he documents the reuse of Japanese internment camp buildings, has been exhibited in group exhibitions at the Photographic Center Northwest and SOIL Gallery in Seattle, and the RayKo Photo Center in San Francisco. His editorial assignment clients include Travel + Leisure, Conde Nast Traveler, Garden & Gun and Martha Stewart Living.
