Bio

Katrina d’Autremont is a fine art photographer whose work deals with the ideas of intimacy between family and friends, as well as, between people and spaces. After completing her B.F.A in Literature at the University of Arizona, she spent several years traveling around South America. During which time, she would return periodically to her family’s home in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her interest in photographing the people closest to her grew out of this time. In 2005 she returned to the United States to begin her M.F.A. in Photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Since then her work has won various awards including the PDN 30 in 2011 and the Silver Eye Fellowship for Photography 2009. She currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
