Bio
Barbara Ciurej and Lindsay Lochman began collaborating on photographic projects over three decades ago when they met as students at the Institute of Design in Chicago+Illinois Institute of Technology. They chronicle rites of passage and document the psychological landscapes and social architecture in which they travel. Their photographs have been in numerous solo and group exhibits and are in the collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, the Walker Art Center and the Milwaukee Art Museum. Ciurej (left) is a photographer/graphic designer living and working in Chicago. Lochman (right) is a Milwaukee based photographer and lecturer at the University of Wisconsin.
