To Benefit: I chose the The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) in gratitude towards my mother, who was first diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2002, and following a three-year remission, continues to valiantly fight this disease. The mission of the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund is to fund research to find a method of early detection and ultimately a cure for ovarian cancer. In support of their mission, the OCRF helps patients and their loved ones understand the disease and its treatment, and provide outreach programs to raise public awareness.
